RazorSharpWood started 25 years ago, sort of.......

One Christmas I made Intarsia Nativities for the people in my office. Everyone said "you should do a craft fair", So the next year I did one show and bought some new tools. Twenty five years later, my tool collection has grown and I am doing 10-12 shows a year. I started doing mostly scroll saw work; today I have expanded to boxes and wooden jewelry.
Several years ago, I had a box of small scraps of exotic wood left over from boxes. My wife suggested I create some earrings, like most husband's I didn't hear what she was saying. After some persuasion, I made a couple dozen pairs and they all sold in the next show. A light bulb went off, women like earrings. Since that time, I developed a process to make earrings out of exotic wood veneers. It makes them strong but light weight and the exotic wood grains have beautiful patterns. They have proven to be very popular and currently represent the majority of my sales.
In the fall, RazorSharpWood features a number of Christmas items including nativities and ornaments. Several of which are my own designs. I am always looking for ideas for new designs, I strive to produce unique products that you won't find any where else. I take my tag line "Unique Designs in Wood" as a promise to my customers.
I am currently doing 12 to 14 shows a year and trying to get an online store started. Take a look at our Facebook page at Razor Sharp Wood .
